My name is Marcel Kremser, and I graduated from the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen in November 2023. I am currently working in the field of external quality control at INSTAND and am committed to ensuring the highest standards in medical diagnostics and laboratory analysis.
Originally from North Rhine-Westphalia, my academic career has taken me through various renowned universities: I completed my Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Bielefeld, followed by a Master's degree in Medical Biology at the University of Duisburg-Essen. In 2019, I moved to Tübingen to start my PhD in the Research Training Group GRK 2381 ‘cGMP: From the bedside to the lab bench’. Under the supervision of Prof Meinrad Gawaz, I researched how cGMP regulates hemin-induced ferroptosis of platelets in the Department of Cardiology at the University Hospital of Tübingen.
In addition to my scientific work, basketball, technology, and travel are my greatest passions. Since my youth, I have been fascinated by basketball—a sport that combines strategy, teamwork, and dynamism—qualities I also value in my professional career. I am also deeply interested in modern technologies, particularly 3D printing and smart home solutions, which I actively explore. Additionally, I love traveling to experience different cultures and perspectives.
I look forward to new contacts and exciting conversations - let's network!
